To provide a real-time social experience, we collect: 

A.     General Users 

• Account Data: Name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, unique account identifiers (username) and profile picture.
• Verification Records: Government-issued identity documentation or digital identification tokens (e.g., UAE Pass metrics) required strictly to fulfill legal age restrictions (18+ for account setup, 21+ for restricted venues).
• Location Data (Crucial): Precise GPS location (subject to your explicit device permissions) to show you nearby "Vibes", enable the "Vibe" posting feature and show nearby entertainment venues, events, and localized artist activations.
• Multimedia Content: Photos/videos uploaded via the Vibe or Entertainer features.
• Social Data: Your Squad connections and Head-to-Head interactions, as well as public posts, tags, image sharing, and engagement strings within our media stream, anchored to our central motto: be the life of the party.
• Communication: Messages sent within the app.

 

B.     Registered Entertainers & Content Creators
 

• Professional & Creative Profiles: Stage name, portfolio links, media samples, performance rates, genre classifications, and scheduling calendars.
• Regulatory Licensing Data: Commercial Trade or Freelance licenses issued by UAE authorities (e.g.,RAKEZ) and mandatory E-Media Influencer/Advertiser Permits issued by the UAE Media Council.

 

C.    Partner Venues
 

• Corporate Identity: Business registration names, trade licenses, authorized personnel details, physical street addresses, and capacity certifications.
• Operational Content: Event scheduling calendars, price sheets, seating charts, and localized promotional media streams.

 

2. THE "VIBE" & EPHEMERALITY
 
Raha Culture is built on the "Now."
 

• Public Visibility: "Vibes" are visible to other users for a maximum of two (2) hours.
• Storage & Deletion: Once the 2-hour window expires, the content is removed from the public feed.
• Analytics Logs: While the media may be removed, we retain anonymized metadata (e.g., "a user visited Venue X at 10 PM") to generate the crowd analytics used by responsible authorities for city infrastructure support and venue management.

 

3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
 

• Service Delivery: To show you the most relevant Places, Offers, and Entertainers.
• Verification: To verify venue managers who claim venue ownership/management.
• Crowd Insights: To provide "Responsible Authorities" with aggregated, non-identifiable data to improve city security, venue capacity, and infrastructure.
• Safety: To monitor and prevent fraudulent accounts or "Head-to-Head" abuse.

 

4. SHARING OF INFORMATION
 
We do not sell your personal data. We only share information:
 

• With Your Consent: When you join a Squad or post a public Vibe.
• With Venue Managers: If you interact with an Offer or Announcement, the venue may see aggregate interest.
• With Authorities: Only in anonymized, aggregated formats for urban planning and tourism analytics.
• Legal Compliance: When required by UAE Federal Law or RAKEZ regulations.

 

5. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY
 

• Location: In compliance with UAE data residency guidelines, we strive to store and process data on secure servers. Data remains inside domestic boundaries, ensuring seamless direct alignment with local digital governance structures.
• Protection: We use industry-standard encryption to protect your messages and account credentials.
• User Control: You can delete your account or specific content at any time through the app settings in your user profile section.

 

6. YOUR RIGHTS (UAE PDPL COMPLIANCE)
 
Under the UAE Data Protection Law, you have the right to:
 

1. Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold.
2. Correction: Ask us to fix inaccurate information.
3. Deletion: Request the "Right to be Forgotten" (deletion of your account).
4. Restriction: Object to certain types of data processing.

7. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Raha Culture is a family-friendly platform but is intended for users aged 15 and above (or the legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children without parental consent.



8. CONTENT RESTRICTIONS & PROACTIVE MONITORING
 
Raha Culture runs moderation loops over social content feeds. Media elements containing prohibited subject matter—including, but not limited to, religious defamation, unconsented public photography, or explicit material (refer to content restrictions referred to in the Raha Culture Terms & Conditions / Terms of Service in the Raha Culture App) —will be flagged, analyzed, and purged immediately. Processing data for compliance monitoring is mandatory to maintain our operational RAKEZ license.

 
9. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY
As Raha Culture evolves, we may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes via an in-app announcement.
